Since our school achieved a breakthrough in the comprehensive international top academic journal PNAS for the first time in 2021, in the past two years, our school's scientific researchers have continuously achieved new breakthroughs in publishing papers in comprehensive international top academic journals such as CNS sub-journals and PNAS. On the Nature Index Ranking of Chinese Universities, our school has risen from 153rd in 2023 to 101st in 2024, with an increase of 52 places, which indicates that the frontier academic research level of our school is constantly strengthening, and the effect of talent team construction is obvious.
In 2021, our school's scientific research team published significant research results in PNAS, achieving a zero breakthrough in the publication of papers in comprehensive international top academic journals for our school, adding a glorious chapter to the history of our school's scientific research development.
In 2022, our school's scientific researchers published scientific research results in the international authoritative journal Nature Communications for the first time as the first signing unit, achieving a historic breakthrough in the publication of papers in Nature sub-journals for our school, demonstrating the outstanding creativity and pioneering and innovative spirit of our school's scientific research team.
In 2023, our school's scientific researchers published a total of 6 papers in comprehensive international top academic journals, including the first publication of important results in Nature Protocols and Science Advances, and 4 research results were continuously published in Nature Communications and PNAS. Compared with 2022, there was a five-fold increase. This leapfrog growth reflects the rapid improvement of our school's scientific research strength and further consolidates our school's position in the international scientific research field.
In 2024, our school's scientific researchers published 5 papers in comprehensive international top academic journals. In particular, the important results of our school were first published in Nature Reviews Chemistry, a major sub-journal of Nature. The number of high-level research results has maintained a stable development trend, showing the profound accumulation and continuous innovation ability of our school's scientific research team in the field of basic research.
